The E9 camera settings can be quickly and easily configured via the built-in screen menu or the app.

3 Power Supply Methods

8 AA batteries

  • Uses 8 AA batteries (1.5V each) or in parallel for 12V.
  • Night vision off below 10V, camera stops below 9.2V.
  • Can use external power with AA batteries as backup.

AC Adapter

A DC 12V input (5.5x2.1mm) at the bottom allows connection to an external power source, such as an AC supply or solar panel.

  • My guardian pro says please insert memory card, but the memory card is inserted

    1. Sometimes the SD card may be damaged or unstable, please carefully clean the contact surface of the SD card plug, and repeatedly pull out the SD card.
    2. If it still does not work, please use an SD card reader or computer slot to try to access and check whether the SD card is working properly.

  • What are the power options and battery life for E9?

    The E9 camera offers multiple power options, including AA batteries and solar panels, ensuring reliable operation day and night. It requires 8 AA batteries to reach 12V, with night vision functioning above 10V and shutting down below 9.2V. The camera prioritizes external power but uses AA batteries as a backup during outages.

  • Will the GardePro Wi-Fi cameras work with a tablet (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth equipped) ?

    Yes, GardePro all Wi-Fi cameras are compatible with both tablets and smartphones equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

  • Does the E9 trail camera with a solar panel include the solar panel?

    When purchasing, choose the "Accessory Bundle" option that best fits your needs. You can select "None" for just the E9 camera, "Solar Panel SP350" to get the E9 with a Solar Panel SP350, "Security Box" to get the E9 with a Security Box, or "AC Adapter" to get the E9 with an AC Adapter. For a 2-Pack, select the "Accessory Bundle" with Solar Panel to receive two E9 cameras and two Solar Panel SP350 units.

  • If I mount these at my cabin, can I review my photos from my home address, or do I have to be at the cabin to view them?

    You can review your photos and videos remotely using the E9’s WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity via the GardePro Mobile App. However, due to the range limitations (WiFi Range: 45+ ft / 13m, Bluetooth Range: 33 ft / 10m), if the distance between your cabin and home exceeds these ranges, you will need to be at the cabin to preview the photos.

  • How do I adjust the field of view?

    Hi,good to answer your question. You could download the Gardepro APP to control your cam.

  • Will this connect to my home wifi?

    The camera operates by connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth and then uses WiFi to transfer photos. It doesn't directly connect to home WiFi networks. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask.
