Does the E8PMB require a cellular plan in order for it to work or only to transfer photo?
All GardePro WIFI Trail camera models can be used to transfer photos without a data plan, and all E6, E7, E8, E9 models are connected via wifi and Bluetooth for data transfer. All GardePro WIFI Trail camera models allow you to view the camera's current shots in real time.

How long will the batteries operate the camera in motion detection only mode? I want to place the camera in an area where there is no power available.
Hi,good to answer your question.When fully charged, it can work continuously for 12.5 hours during the day and 6.5 hours at night.
